In the year 2120 Man is no longer the apex predator. Instead, daemons slaughter humans to the brink of extinction. Feeding on human suffering, they have acquired a taste for young innocent souls.

Daemon scourge known as Soul Reapers hunt relentlessly for a group of orphans hiding under the protection of the White Witch Artemis. Trapped with no hope of escape, Artemis prepares to make a final stand.

The ancient druid Markos learns of Artemis' plight in a vision and embarks on a quest to rescue her. Guided by an unreliable sylph, Markos must form unlikely alliances and battle nightmarish creatures to save the White Witch and possibly all of mankind.
